My 5 ingredient waffles are made with quinoa flour. These waffles are not only gluten free, they are dairy and nut free.The waffle mix is made from only 5 ingredients that can easily be pronounced. There are no gluten free flour mixes with xanthan or guar gums. There are only whole organic ingredients.

The waffles can be made ahead of time and then frozen. I keep these waffles stocked in my fridge. In the morning I heat the waffle in the toaster, just like any commercially bought waffle. I like to fry an egg and create a waffle sandwich.

The waffles can also be topped with your favorite fruit toppings. Sometimes I will spread almond butter and/or peanut butter on top of the waffle with sliced bananas and a little honey.

You can use this mix in a waffle maker or fry on the stove in a little oil. I like my Belgian Waffle Maker. My size Belgian Waffle produces waffles that can be easily heated in my toaster oven. Before pouring the mix on the waffle maker, I coat the waffle maker with coconut oil spray. This prevents sticking.

These waffles are not sweet. However, if your diet allows a type of sweetener such as coconut sugar or honey, add a 1/4 cup for a bit of sweetness.

Instructions
  1. Crack the eggs into a separate bowl. Lightly Beat the eggs.

  2. Add all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Add the wet ingredients and stir until completely mixed.
  3. Spray the waffle maker with coconut oil cooking spray.
  4. Add a cup of mix to the waffle maker, flip, and cook for three minutes. When the timer goes off, remove the waffle using a fork. Enjoy while still hot with your favorite toppings.
Recipe Notes

Make the waffles ahead of time and then store in the freezer. Heat the waffles in a toaster oven and then top with your favorite toppings. I like fried eggs or peanut butter and bananas.

If you don't have a waffle maker, don't worry. Heat a little oil or butter in a frying pan and make pancakes instead.
